Welcome to the wonderful blog of the Marist College Gospel Choir!
My name is Carly and was the President of the choir this past year.  I know how amazing we are as a group, and with social media becoming the new way to advertise and keep people updated, I decided that a blog would be the perfect addition to our choir. Not only does it give everyone in our group the chance to share their experiences and highlights of being part of such a choir but it also gives others the opportunity to learn a bit more about us.
We are gaining recognition at Marist College more and more each year, and we want everyone to know what we do. Our love of singing is expressed through our love of God.  We are a family that sings together, travels together, prays together, and loves together. We are a very diverse group of people; many come from all over the country with different backgrounds and even religions, but we have a common love of singing and praising God. To me, there is no greater joy than having another family to call my own and this choir is exactly that. We became a haven for many students who needed a place to go to just unwind and not worry about the stress of life. When we sing, all our other troubles seem to disappear. God is with us always, and He has given me the greatest joy by finding the gospel choir here at Marist.
As we begin to post about our experiences as part of this choir, we encourage you to follow us on our spiritual journey and provide us with support. Our travels can be extensive, and we hold a variety of fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for our expenses. We will also be posting our concert dates and on-campus events on the calendar if you wish to attend any of our performances. Please visit our “Contact Us” page if you are interested in hosting us at your church!
Thank you for support!
Peace & Blessings.
